Ship full-stack features on a mission-critical system, and do it with AI in your toolkit. Linchpin Software is looking for a Software Developer who is strong on the full stack:
Java + Angular, or Node.js + Type Script. You'll build features on a large-scale, mission-critical application used every day, working with an Agile team that takes quality seriously. We build software differently. Our developers use AI-assisted tools (Claude Code, Codex, Git Lab Duo) daily to debug faster, write better tests, and deliver more. You should already use AI in your workflow, or be eager to start.
You'll Do:
- Develop, test, and deploy full-stack features from concept to production
- Build front ends in Angular (or a similar modern framework) and back ends in Java/Spring or Node.js/Type Script
- Write clean, testable code and take part in code reviews
- Use AI-assisted development tools to accelerate your work
- Work in an Agile team alongside engineers, architects, and mission stakeholders
- Active Top Secret clearance
- 5+ years of professional software development experience
- Strong experience with Java + Angular, OR Node.js + Type Script
- Hands-on experience using AI-assisted coding tools
- Ability to work full-time, on-site in Washington, DC (20024)
- Infrastructure as Code (Terraform or similar)
- Docker and Kubernetes
- CI/CD and Dev Ops practices
- AWS experience
- SQL and relational databases
- Real impact on a large-scale mission application
- A team that is actively shaping how AI changes software development
- Exposure to Dev Ops and cloud work if you want it
- A stable, long-term program with a clear growth path Compensation: $120,000 - $150,000, plus competitive benefits.
