Job DescriptionAs an Equinox Pilates Instructor, your career is a lifestyle founded on maximizing both personal and client potential. Working under a dedicated Pilates Manager, you will develop and refine programming, education, and business development strategies to ensure your instructor career is as unlimited as your passion.
Primary Responsibilities- Develop a safe, professional, comprehensive Pilates training program for each client to ensure they attain their goals and stay motivated.
- Conduct initial client assessment and goal setting to recommend an appropriate Pilates program.
- Instruct private, duet, and semi‑private sessions.
- Collaborate with the Pilates Manager to grow your book of business through the member base.
- Complete all administrative requirements associated with client management.
- Coordinate with other departments to provide a well‑rounded experience for members.
- Provide excellent customer service to all Equinox members and guests.
- Maintain consistent client activity to help them achieve results and goals.
- Participate in ongoing training and development.
- Maintain studio and equipment cleanliness.
- Completion of a Comprehensive Pilates Teacher Training program or certification on all Pilates apparatus (mat, reformer, Cadillac/trapeze, Wunda chair, high or combo chair, and barrels).
- Minimum of 400 hours of Pilates education completed through a certification program.
- Valid copy of Pilates certifications submitted upon application.
- Exceptional customer service skills.
Physical Requirements
- Standing, sitting, and walking.
- Squatting, bending, and reaching.
- Ability to push, pull, and safely spot and correct clients during sessions.
- Compensation for time spent in internal Pilates continuing education and business development.
- Access to company discounts with certifying bodies and free continuing education Pilates workshops.

$45 hr. – $62 hr. per session; $17.95 hr. for non‑session work; ability to earn additional incentive bonuses.
