Assist the Head Football Coach with all aspects of coaching and managing the football program, including but not limited to coordinating the offense, managing offensive coaches, assisting in planning offensive practice activities, recruiting as assigned, and any other team duties as assigned by the head football coach. Perform services to support an active, student-oriented campus environment while complying with national, local, university, NCAA and conference laws, regulations, standards and codes.
The projected salary or hourly pay range for this position which represents the full range of anticipated compensation is $45,000 - 50,000.
Responsibilities- Coaching, Training, Instruction - Perform as a professional educator and role model to enable individual students to develop as student-athletes and to work together as a successful, competitive intercollegiate team.
- Strength and Conditioning - Assist with the coordination of strength and conditioning programs for student-athletes.
- Recruitment - Lead the recruitment of student-athletes who demonstrate the potential to be successful academically and by contributing to the football program.
- Academic Oversight - Mentor and monitor the academic success of the student-athletes.
- Compliance - Ensure compliance with national, local, university, NCAA, Landmark, and conference laws, regulations, standards and codes. (Note The violation of NCAA and conference rules is prohibited and may result in disciplinary action up to and including termination).
- Equipment Room - Provide staffing assistance in the equipment room.
- Supervision - Recruit, supervise, train and evaluation student staff. Assist in overseeing the use of weight room by football student-athletes.
- Special Events - Be involved with and/or supervise special events (i.e. recruiting, alumni events etc.) Serve as primary contact for football when head coach is unavailable.
- A Bachelor's Degree.
- Must have minimum of two (4) years’ coaching experience.
- Demonstrated mastery of offensive football implementation and execution combined with ability to monitor offensive assistant coaching staff.
