CDL Class A Driver Lead

Responsibilities

* Shift: 1st Shift Full-time - 5am start time

* Schedule:

Tuesday-Friday (Saturday, Sunday, and Monday off)

* Local Deliveries - Home Every Night

* Prior touch freight experience is required

* Pay:
Starting at $32 per hour

* Off on Major Holidays (8 Total)

* Must be 21 Year of Age

* Must have Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (At least 1yr experience required)

* Benefits:

Responsibilities:

* Personnel Development:
Act as the primary Field Trainer, onboarding and coaching new drivers to ensure high performance and safety standards.

* Operational Oversight:
Ensure the integrity and accuracy of daily loads while maintaining strict compliance with ABC and DOT regulations.

* Stakeholder Management:
Cultivate and maintain professional relationships with key customer accounts to ensure service excellence.

* Strategic Support:
Serve as a frontline resource for the delivery team, providing guidance and conflict resolution when the Supervisor is off-site.

* Safety Stewardship:
Lead the department's safety culture by conducting rigorous pre-trip inspections and enforcing company-wide safety protocols.

Qualifications:

* Licensure:
Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL-A) with a minimum of 5 years of experience.

* Expertise:
Significant experience in touch freight and high-volume delivery operations

* Leadership Aptitude:
Proven ability to train, mentor, and communicate effectively with a diverse team.

* Requirements:
Must be at least 21 years of age with a commitment to professional growth and safety.

Qualifications

Required

Education and Experience:

* 1 plus years of Class A commercial driving experience or equivalent driving experience in the military

* Must be at least 21 years of age

* Must possess a valid Class A Commercial Driver's License

* Must be able to lift products from 25 pounds to 50 pounds on a regular basis and up to 170 pounds

Preferred

Education and Experience:

* High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED)
