We are seeking a board-certified Interventional Radiologist for a locum tenens assignment in the Ashford area, with potential opportunities for locum-to-permanent transition. Position Details:

Washington State, near Ashford Position:
Locum Tenens - Interventional Radiology Physician Setting:
Hospital-based practice in a Level 3 Trauma Center
Schedule:
Day
Shift: 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Call Coverage:
Required for the full week if on rotation Weekend Requirements:
Full 24-hour call coverage on Saturdays and Sundays Caseload:
Approximately 8-11 cases daily, with a high volume of paracentesis, thoracentesis, and biopsies Facility Highlights:
Emergency Volume:
Approximately 55,000 annual ER visits EMR System: EPIC, with teleradiology support via Philips ISite platform Support Staff:
Includes two local interventional radiologists and a team of IR support professionals Responsibilities:
Conduct a variety of imaging and interventional procedures:
Required Imaging Procedures:
Angiography, CT, and Ultrasound Required Interventional Procedures:
Angioplasty, stent placement, chemo embolization, embolization, aortic aneurysm endograft stenting, needle biopsies, thrombolysis, and kyphoplasty Collaborate with a large team of radiologists across the health system
Qualifications:
Board Certification: AO or A in Interventional Radiology ??? Required Fellowship Training:
Strongly preferred in Interventional Radiology (IR) Licensure:
Active Washington State medical license ??? Required
Certifications:
ACLS certification ??? Required Credentialing:
Timeframe:
Approximately 3-4 months to complete credentialing Additional Information:
