As a Pulmonology Medical Director, you will play a crucial role in shaping and overseeing the pulmonary care provided at our facility.

This part-time position offers a unique opportunity to balance your professional and personal life, with a schedule of 1-2 days per week, each comprising approximately 8 hours. The ideal candidate will hold board certifications in Internal Medicine and Pulmonology (ABIM & Pulmonology) and be willing to take on on-call duties. The responsibilities include rounding on ventilator and tracheostomy patients, contributing to an anticipated patient volume of 15 encounters per day.

Additionally, the role involves Medical Directorship responsibilities, with an estimated commitment of 10-15 hours per month. Our facility, situated near Galvin, WA, is a vital healthcare hub with a bed size of 80 and a mix of long-term and short-term beds (70/80). The average census is 29, and we experience an average of 6 weekly admits/discharges. We utilize the PCC electronic health record (EHR) system to ensure streamlined and efficient patient care.
