This on-site, contract position offers a unique opportunity to provide high-quality medical care within a supportive and dynamic healthcare environment.
As a Locum MD/DO, you will play a crucial role in delivering comprehensive patient care, diagnosing and treating a variety of medical conditions, and collaborating with healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes. Your expertise will contribute to our mission of providing exceptional primary care services to our community.
Responsibilities- Provide high-quality medical care to patients in a primary care setting
- Conduct thorough patient evaluations and assessments
- Diagnose and treat acute and chronic illnesses
- Develop and implement patient management plans
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive care
- Educate patients and families on health maintenance and disease prevention
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and patient safety programs
- MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school
- Current state medical license to practice in Washington
- Associate level experience in Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, or Primary Care
- Strong clinical skills and a patient-centered approach
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment
- Commitment to ongoing professional development and education
- Familiarity with electronic medical record (EMR) systems is preferred
Flexible
Schedule:
5x 8-hour shifts or 4x 10-hour shifts per week
No call required
Setting:
Outpatient
Patient Volume:
Minimum of 15-16 per shift
Patient Population:
All ages
Bread & butter primary care cases
Support Staff: NPs, PAs
EMR:
Epic
Must be board-certified or board-eligible
