The facility operates a hospital-based laboratory providing comprehensive pathology services across a full spectrum of anatomic and clinical pathology cases. The laboratory supports specialized hematopathology and cytology services within an established diagnostic workflow. Locum tenens coverage is required to maintain continuous pathology services across the designated assignment periods.

About the Clinician's WorkdayThe anatomic and clinical pathologist will provide comprehensive pathology services Monday through Friday with call coverage during nights and weekends. Responsibilities include reviewing 25-30 cases daily encompassing all anatomic and clinical pathology specimens, hematopathology cases, and cytology studies. The clinician will work within a hospital-based laboratory setting on an inpatient basis. Board certification in Anatomic and Clinical Pathology is required, along with an active Washington state medical license;
an Oregon license is preferred.
