This facility supports a range of inpatient and outpatient orthopedic surgical services for the regional patient population. The facility maintains established clinical protocols and the staffing infrastructure necessary to support quality orthopedic care delivery across assigned coverage periods. Hospital support staff and a medical assistant in the outpatient clinic are available to assist clinicians throughout the assignment.

The Washington region offers clinicians on assignment access to a range of community-oriented activities and local experiences. The area features art markets, live music, food vendors, and family activities at local venues, as well as environmental exhibits, workshops, and cultural festivals held at community centers across the region. Clinicians may also explore a variety of culinary and arts experiences within a network of neighborhoods and destinations spanning several miles.

Clinicians will provide 24-hour call coverage for ER services, with three days designated for outpatient clinic coverage, across inpatient and clinic settings at an on-site facility in Washington. This locum tenens assignment is structured for up to two weeks per month, beginning in September on an ongoing basis. Clinical responsibilities encompass general orthopedic surgical care delivered across both the inpatient and outpatient clinic environments.

Call coverage is a required component of this assignment, and board certification in orthopedic surgery is required for consideration.
