This correctional facility delivers outpatient and clinic-based primary care services to an adult population in a secure clinical environment in Washington state. The facility operates with established protocols suited to corrections-based healthcare delivery to support consistent and quality care. Clinical workflows are structured to address the primary and chronic care needs of the patient population served.

Washington state offers clinicians on assignment access to a range of outdoor and cultural experiences suited to varied interests. The region provides access to national parks, island destinations, coastal areas, mountain ranges, and forested landscapes, as well as urban parks, waterfront experiences, arts festivals, and live music venues. Clinicians will find year-round recreational and cultural activities available throughout the state during time away from assignment.

Clinicians will provide outpatient and clinic-based primary care services to adult patients at a correctional facility in Washington, working either four 10-hour shifts from 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM (with Tuesday through Thursday off) or Monday through Friday from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM. The expected caseload is 5-8 patients per day, with clinical responsibilities encompassing injury management, acute illness treatment, follow-up visits, physicals, complicated chronic care management, urgent care, and minor procedures within a structured correctional environment.

No call coverage is required for this assignment. Required credentials include BLS, a Washington state license, DEA registration, COVID vaccination, and prescriptive authority; board certification in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine is negotiable, and credentialing is estimated at 1-2 weeks.
