Position Overview:
An Emergency Medicine Physician is sought to provide on-site ER coverage in a 25-bed Level IV trauma center.
Responsibilities:Evaluate and manage emergency department patients of all ages during 12-hour day and night shifts, ensuring accurate clinical documentation. Support is available from specialists in neurosurgery, orthopedics, general surgery, urology, and ENT. Prescriptive authority is required.
Qualifications:Candidates should have FM/IM with EM experience or ABEM certification. Board certification is negotiable. Experience in emergency medicine and prescriptive authority are essential.
Key Duties:Provide clinical care, maintain documentation, and coordinate with specialist support as needed. The role involves variable case loads without call requirements.
Additional Details:The position is on-site, with shifts scheduled as 12-hour day/night shifts. The patient population includes all ages. No call duties or government affiliation.
