Emergency Certificated Teacher Substitute Pool

MUST have a 4-year degree and attend the mandatory training on March 4 & 5.

These positions are for day-to-day substitute on an on-call as-needed basis and all Washington State rules for hiring of Emergency Certificated Substitutes will apply.

PLEASE NOTE:

Upon selection for hire candidates will be required to complete district-provided training, fingerprinting requirements at their cost, submit all employment paperwork and identification, and obtain emergency teaching certificate prior to being called as a substitute.

Substitute shift for Secondary is 7:10 am - 2:40 pm and Elementary is 8:30 am - 4:00 pm. Substitutes are called on an as-needed basis and there is no guarantee of how many days you will be called, however, please be sure you can be available during these hours before applying for substitute status.
