To establish a completed application file, the items listed below must be submitted by the specified deadline:

* completed and signed pateros school district employment application. Application must be completed in its entirety. "see resume," is not acceptable.

* letter of interest specific to the open position.

* up-to-date resume.

For certificated applicants:

* two current (within a year), professional letters of reference.

* a washington state certificate

* a placement file from your college, university, and copies of all college/university transcripts (if selected, the candidate will be required to submit a complete official, unopened, transcripts of college work within 30 days of employment.

For classified applicants:

* one current (within a year), professional letter of reference.

* any additional materials requested on job posting/description.

Successful applicants will be employed on a conditional basis pending completion and clearance of the background/fingerprint check (pursuant to board policy), sexual misconduct release, and board approval.

Applications are retained and considered active for one year following the first submission.

Current or past employers will be contacted as part of the selection process.
