- Within the Emergency Sub Certificate application, there is form “District Request for Emergency Substitute Certificate.” CSD cannot add a request until applicant has been cleared to be hired as an emergency sub teacher by the CSD.

This position will involve working as a substitute/on‑call teacher to assist schools on a program‑need basis. The positions will be varied, and may include instruction with basic education and disabled students in self‑contained and regular‑education settings, recess and performing other job‑related duties as assigned. All duties of the position will be performed within the scope of Columbia School District policies and procedures, including regular attendance and punctuality.
