Position DescriptionOur assistant coaches support the district mission by:
- Coaching & developing players at any level on the High School team (Varsity, JV & C-Team)
- Assisting the head coach of the Varsity team at practices and games
- Working with all the High School & Middle School coaches to continue to build a cohesive 7/12 football program
- Assisting with equipment managing (checking in/out & organizing)
August 19 - November 2, 2026
- The assistant coach must be available after school for practice and games
- The successful candidate must be fingerprinted at their own expense
- Employment is contingent upon a satisfactory background check and clearance by the Washington State Patrol and the Federal Bureau of Investigation.
$3,386 - $4,478 depending on experience
BenefitsEligible employees may accrue sick leave at the rate of one (1) hour of sick leave for every 40 hours worked under Washington state law. Upon working 630 hours in a school year, eligible employees may be eligible for insurance benefits through School Employees Benefits Board (SEBB) which includes medical, dental, vision, long-term disability, life and AD&D insurance.
Required Qualifications- High School diploma or equivalent
- Must be 21 years of age or older
- Valid CPR card on file prior to the first day of coaching athletes
- Experience playing and/or coaching football at the High School level or beyond
- Experience playing and coaching football at the college level or higher
- Ability to assist with summer workouts and fundraising
