In this role, your daily work will center on fostering positive student growth and well-being through professional assessments, effective intervention strategies, and active collaboration with multidisciplinary teams. Create a nurturing and supportive environment while partnering with educators, families, and administrators to implement individualized educational plans and promote academic achievement for all students.
Ideal experience and qualifications:
- Valid School Psychologist certification or eligibility
- Master's degree or higher in School Psychology or related field
- Previous experience in school-based settings strongly preferred
- Strong understanding of assessment tools, educational diagnostics, and data interpretation
- Ability to develop and monitor Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Compassionate approach when working with students of diverse backgrounds and abilities
- Conduct comprehensive psychological and academic assessments
- Provide counseling, crisis intervention, and behavioral support to students
- Collaborate with educators and families to create targeted interventions
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute expertise
- Offer professional guidance regarding student mental health and learning challenges
