Location: Stanwood
Homeless Student Liaison - Stanwood-Camano School District
As a Homeless Student Liaison, you facilitate success for youth experiencing homelessness by arranging transportation to their school of origin and assisting with enrollment in their local school without delay.
You also provide referrals to healthcare, dental, mental health, and other appropriate services.
Students facing homelessness are protected from penalties related to absenteeism or other infractions under the McKinney-Vento Act, ensuring they may attend their school of origin "to the extent feasible."
