Incumbent is directly responsible for each student they are assigned, to meet the schools goals and objectives for their assigned grade level and/or courses. The Teacher is also responsible for helping students meet both cognitive and affective objectives and may be assigned extra duties as needed on an individual basis.

• Current valid WA State Teaching Certificate for Kindergarten through 8th grade.
• First Aid/CPR certification within 30 days of hire.
• Valid WA State Driver’s license.
• Proof of degree/transcripts, certifications, and three written letters of reference with application.
• Demonstrated knowledge and skill to effectively instruct children.
• Social skills necessary to effectively communicate with staff, students, parents, and the public.
• Skill and dedication necessary to participate in the development of a constantly improving program.
• Current knowledge in any given subject area.
• Current knowledge and use of appropriate instructional theory.
• Ability to develop and implement curriculum.
• Ability to maintain classroom control.
• Ability to maintain strict confidentiality.
