Contribute your expertise as a school psychologist in an engaging, supportive environment for the school year. This full-time contract opportunity involves working directly with elementary and middle school students, providing critical support across a diverse range of abilities and needs. Each week, you'll work Monday through Friday, dedicating seven hours a day to helping students achieve their best academically, socially, and emotionally.
Key Qualifications &
Experience:
- Current Washington State certification as a School Psychologist is required.
- Background working in educational settings, ideally at the elementary and middle school levels.
- Familiarity supporting students across various disabilities, from mild to severe.
- Strong ability to collaborate with educators, administrators, and family members.
- Exceptional communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Conduct comprehensive psycho educational evaluations to assess cognitive, academic, behavioral, and emotional needs.
- Develop, implement, and monitor individualized education programs (IEPs) for students with disabilities.
- Participate in multidisciplinary meetings, providing insights and recommendations for student support.
- Deliver consultation and resources to staff and families regarding learning interventions and behavioral plans.
- Foster safe, inclusive, and supportive learning environments.
- Maintain thorough, confidential documentation in compliance with state and federal regulations.
Compensation for this opportunity ranges from $55 to $65 per hour, reflecting your skills and experience.
