CTE Business​/Entrepreneurship Teacher

Summary

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated educator to join our team at Oakville MS/HS as a full-time CTE Business/Entrepreneurship Teacher for the 2026/2027 academic year. The ideal candidate will inspire students to explore the world of business and entrepreneurship, equipping them with essential skills and knowledge to thrive in today’s dynamic economy. This role involves developing engaging curriculum, fostering a collaborative learning environment, and guiding students in real-world business applications.

• Design and implement a comprehensive curriculum that aligns with state standards and focuses on business principles, entrepreneurship, financial literacy, and career readiness.
• Create an engaging classroom environment that encourages student participation, creativity, and critical thinking.
• Utilize a variety of instructional strategies and technologies to meet the diverse learning needs of students.
• Assess and evaluate student performance through assignments, projects, and examinations, providing constructive feedback to support their growth.
• Stay current with industry trends and educational best practices to continuously improve curriculum and instruction.
• Maintain accurate records of student attendance, grades, and other required documentation.
• Engage with parents and guardians to communicate student progress and address any concerns.

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Education, Education, or a related field;
  Master’s degree preferred.
• Valid teaching certification.
• Experience teaching business or entrepreneurship courses at the middle or high school level is highly desirable.
• Strong understanding of business concepts, entrepreneurship, and financial literacy.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to connect with students, parents, and colleagues.
• Proficiency in using technology and educational software to enhance learning experiences.
• Ability to foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that supports diverse learners.
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
• Commitment to continuous professional growth and development in the field of education.
