Job Overview

This Ameri Corps/Washington Service Corps position is a national service role located at Orondo Elementary School in central Washington. The Intervention Support Member will work closely with the district’s primary intervention teacher to deliver personalized support to students in grades K–8.

• Assist in the preparation and delivery of a quality instructional program aligned with state standards, district curriculum, and individual student needs.
• Tutor students with diverse learning needs, providing mathematics and English language arts instruction.
• Mentor students in support of their social‑emotional learning and help foster positive relationships.
• Collaborate with staff in group settings to provide remediation and extension for all students.

• Monthly stipend of $2,380.

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum age 18; maximum age 99.
• Strong teamwork, teaching, or tutoring skills.
