• Current and valid Special Education Teacher certification
• Previous experience teaching Life Skills or working with elementary-aged students with significant needs is preferred
• Deep understanding of differentiated instruction and IEP development
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills for collaboration with staff, students, and families
• Proven ability to create a supportive and inclusive classroom environment
• Familiarity with best practices in special education and a commitment to ongoing professional growth

• Deliver high-quality, individualized instruction to elementary students within the Life Skills program
• Develop, implement, and track Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) in partnership with multidisciplinary teams
• Foster a nurturing, structured classroom atmosphere that promotes student growth, independence, and positive behaviors
• Collaborate closely with classroom assistants, related service providers, and families to ensure comprehensive support
• Monitor and document student progress towards IEP goals, maintaining compliance with all state and federal regulations
• Utilize adaptive technology and evidence-based interventions to meet learners unique needs
