General ResponsibilitiesUnder the direction of the Postsecondary Readiness and Youth Workforce Managers, the Postsecondary Pathways Advisor plays a vital role in advancing student success by delivering College and Career Readiness Advising, providing pre-Employment Transition Services and serving as a critical data and impact link between assigned schools and the ESD. This position supports equitable access to postsecondary advising, planning, career exploration, and work-based learning experiences aligned with each school's unique needs and the region's workforce opportunities.
The ideal candidate will be an integral member of the College and Career Pathways department, demonstrating strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to effectively engage and connect with diverse students, families, and community stakeholders though instruction, facilitation, and public presentations. This individual will provide direct support in both classroom and one-on-one settings, delivering a range of curriculum and educational programming.
This candidate will exhibit empathy, cultural sensitivity, and a genuine commitment to helping students reach their full potential, along with experience serving and collaborating with rural and remote communities. Salary:
The annual compensation range for this position is $63,148.33 - $76,837.82. Offers are made at the entry level of the range. Effective 09/01/2026, the annual compensation range will be $64,799.51 - $78,834.61. Offers are made at the beginning of the range. Assignment:
