Join one of the world’s leading suppliers of wind power solutions as a Wind Technician for Siemens Gamesa Renewable Energy! SGRE is currently seeking highly talented and motivated candidates to work with a multidisciplinary team to ensure top performance on our wind farms. The candidate will work a flexible schedule, analyze and resolve problems independently and efficiently, deliver outstanding customer service, and contribute to developing new field procedures.
Relocation may be offered for this role if necessary. Flexible travel schedule up to 20%.
How You’ll Make an Impact- Service and maintenance of wind turbines
- Troubleshoot errors on wind turbine equipment
- Escalate technical issues to supporting engineering functions
- Be self‑motivated, able to think quickly and address issues as they arise
- Maintain a mandatory mandatory flexible work schedule and independently resolve issues efficiently
- High school diploma or equivalent; associate’s degree in a related field is a plus.
- Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record; must maintain license and can be subject to periodic DMV checks.
- Minimum 6 months experience in a mechanical, electrical, or industrial field, including experience in electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, maintenance/fixing in a military, industrial or automotive industry.
- Physically and mentally able to work suspended from heights and in confined spaces; meet the body‑weight restriction of 265 pounds or less and pass a physical administered by a medical practitioner.
- Must pass pre‑hire background drug screening.
- Certification from a Renewable Energy or Wind Technical Program or hands‑on experience as a Wind Technician on a wind farm is a plus.
Applicants must be legally authorized for employment in the United States without need for current or future employer‑sponsored work authorization. Siemens Energy employees with current visa sponsorship may be eligible for internal transfers.

This job is based in Goldendale, Washington. Siemens Energy offers a variety of health and wellness benefits including paid time off and holiday pay. Details regarding our benefits can be found here: The base salary range for this position in Goldendale, Washington is $50,000‑60,000.
The salary offered depends on experience, skills, certifications, and other business needs. Employees typically do not start at the top of the range, though compensation depends on each individual’s qualifications.
