About The Position
This is a Direct Hire Authority solicitation utilizing the DHA for Certain Personnel of the DoD. This is an entry level position into the Power Plant Trainee Program at McNary or Chief Joe Dam. The program consists of academic/on-the job training. Upon completion of the first year the apprentice will be promoted to apprentice in the associated trade/craft (Power Plant Operator/Electrician/Mechanic) and complete training requirements of that craft over the next 3 years.
