Job Description:
GDIT has a great opportunity for a Aircraft Survivability Equipment (ASE) Engineer at Joint Base Lewis-McCord (JBLM), WA. This position requires someone with a current and active Secret clearance.
The ASE Engineer for JBLM will primarily support the hardware family – Aircraft Survivability Equipment (ASE):
Common Missile Warning System (CMWS) (AN/AAR-57) and Infrared Countermeasures (IRCM). Candidate must have good communication skills in the military Aviation sector.
How the Aircraft Survivability Equipment (ASE) Engineer will make an impact:
Performs maintenance operations support including screening and repairing electronic equipment; installing software in electronic equipment; and installation and de-installation of avionic electronic equipment on rotary wing vehicles.
Perform maintenance and repair services including, but not limited to, fault diagnosis, removal and replacement of line replaceable units (LRUs), Preventative Maintenance Checks and Services (PMCS), screening, repair, overhaul, refurbishment, retrograde, installation of systems, customer support, calibration, and alignment for all C5
ISR systems and associated support equipment in scope of the task order.If required, then will perform system repairs in order to return each to the Full Operational Capability (FOC) or the U.S. Army’s 10/20 standard and in accordance with the applicable technical manuals (TMs).
Perform maintenance, and sustainment support services to support the CECOM mission worldwide, both in peacetime and during contingency and wartime operations.
Perform maintenance support primarily be at the Sustainment level, less depot level (as defined by AR 750-1) in the area of electronics and installation of C5
ISR and electronic equipment and systems as required.
What you’ll need to be successful:
Must have a current and active Secret clearance
BS and 2 yrs experience or 6 years of experience without a degree.
Demonstrated experience with Aircraft Survivability Equipment (ASE):
Common Missile Warning System (CMWS) (AN/AAR-57) and Infrared Countermeasures (IRCM).

The likely salary range for this position is $81,349 – $93,610. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
