EducationBachelor’s degree in engineering, engineering management, or business administration.
ExperienceMinimum 5 years managing Test and Evaluation projects focused on acoustic and sonar technologies.
Key Qualifications- Expertise with submarine and surface ship sonars, digital sonar systems, torpedo sonars, and acoustic test facilities.
- Experience with Undersea Warfare (USW) system testing, including Surface Ship Radiated Noise Measurement (SSRNM).
- Familiarity with U.S. Naval at-sea operations related to acoustic signature, noise propagation, and silencing.
- Knowledge of local area networks, data acquisition, underwater weapons development, sonar signal processing, and fire control software.
- Senior engineering skills in mechanical, electronic, electrical, or acoustic disciplines, with leadership in system design and testing.
Supports NUWC Division Keyport’s Test, Training, and Evaluation (TT&E) of USW Systems and Operational Readiness Assessment. Programs include SSRNM, Fleet Sonar Self Noise (FSSN), Common Acoustic Acquisition System (CAAS), Portable Cetacean Monitoring System (PCMS), and 3-Dimensional Multiplexers (3D MUX).
ResponsibilitiesLead test and evaluation operations and technical projects, manage personnel and resources, coordinate program execution, and ensure compliance with Navy standards.
