Your responsibilities will span the entire manufacturing development cycle, from DFM to final production, ensuring that our manufacturing processes are efficient and effective.

The position involves approximately 70% individual technical contribution and 30% team leadership and management.
- Design fixtures and tooling required for various production processes, providing training and documentation.
- Leverage engineering practices to gain a deep understanding of processes and resources to enhance production, resolving most issues independently.
- Own new capital expenditure projects, establishing scope, justification, and specification from concept to procurement, and develop manufacturing capabilities for new products.
- Lead cost reduction efforts by identifying waste, establishing best practices, and implementing improved process methods.
- Analyze costs and return on investment for processes or changes to existing systems.
- Lead and manage a small engineering team with direct reports, balancing individual contribution with team leadership duties.
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field or equivalent education, training, and experience.
- 7+ years of experience in mechanical engineering.
- Expertise in multiple technical disciplines such as Mechanical Systems, Lean, High-volume Manufacturing, Automation and Controls, Tooling/Fixture, Industrial, Machining/Fabrication, Casting, Industry 4.0.
- Ability to manage and lead 2-4 direct reports.
- Strong project management, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong written and oral communication skills with people at all levels of the organization.
- Comfortable using hand tools and power tools.
Skills & Qualifications
- Leadership or managerial experience.
- Basic knowledge in welding, fabrication, castings, forming, machining.
- Experience working on a manufacturing/production floor with mechanical designs for industrial machines.
- Hands‑on hobbies such as woodworking, metalworking, and working on cars.
- High volume manufacturing, process improvement, root cause analysis, risk assessment, and mitigation.
- Six Sigma, 5S methodology, KPI tracking, value stream mapping.
- Mechanical Design experience with tools like Solid Works and CNC programming.
