** to spearhead the development, manufacturing, and sustainment of cutting-edge Vertical Takeoff and Landing Unmanned Aircraft Systems (VTOL UAS). Reporting directly to the Chief Engineer, you will serve as the strategic engine driving multiple cross-functional teams, steering complex hardware products from initial proposal through successful production launch. If you possess a rare blend of deep technical engineering roots and master-level schedule and risk management expertise, this 100% onsite role offers the opportunity to directly influence company revenue and shape the next generation of unmanned flight.

**** The Airbus Helicopters Flexrotor Program offers one of the most sophisticated small tactical unmanned aerial systems (STUAS) with vertical take-off and landing (VTOL). It can be used day or night by US and allied forces for a diverse range of intelligence, surveillance, target acquisition and reconnaissance (ISTAR) on land and at sea.

****** Engineering Project Management: 90%
*** Creates and maintains the master engineering project schedule and risks and issues register, comprising projects of all sizes and complexity, all phases from proposal and planning, through execution to completion.
* Drives project team’s weekly goals setting and achievements, maintaining up-to-date knowledge of status with frequent efficient small meetings and minimized large group meeting time.
* Ensures all necessary engineering deliverables and coordination are accounted for in the project activity, including approvals, BOM, drawing release, work-instruction development, configuration control, hardware lead-times, inspections, manufacturing trials, manufacturing tool-kits, parts kits, verification testing and reporting.
* Identifies and tracks risks and issues, determines dependencies, prioritizes, acquires disposition, ownership assignment, and activity to mitigate and resolve.
