Project Engineer or Sr. Project Engineer

Responsibilities

• Provide project engineering, equipment design, and construction management for capital projects.
• Manage capital projects from small replacement or maintenance projects to larger, Business Unit approved improvement projects, including project submittals, procurement of services and materials, installation, and implementation while maintaining code requirements, budget, and time constraints.
• Manage contractors and outside consultants.
• Engineer design, project evaluation support, and equipment specification.
• Manage existing programs and implement new programs to ensure environmental, operational, and compliance needs of the facility are met.
• Support Process Safety Management programs, including mechanical integrity, process safety information, and piping and instrument diagrams.

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience as a Project Engineer or 10+ years for a Senior Project Engineer, preferably in chemical manufacturing or a similar industry.
• Demonstrated understanding of project management.
• Equipment/system design skills.
• Code and regulatory knowledge.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
