This position is located in Hamilton, Washington State.
- Perform repair and maintenance of CNC machines with a strong focus on troubleshooting.
- Install, write logic, and troubleshoot PLC systems with a solid understanding of PLC technology.
- Apply knowledge of NC programming for machine operations.
- Troubleshoot and repair pneumatic and hydraulic components.
- Work with electrical systems, including 24V and 120V, ensuring proper functionality and safety.
- Gain exposure to robotics and automation systems to enhance efficiency.
- Read and interpret blueprints, diagrams, and electrical drawings for troubleshooting and installations.
- Utilize basic NX CAD skills for design and maintenance tasks.
- Assist in the development and execution of a preventive maintenance program to ensure equipment reliability.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Work well under pressure, meeting and completing multiple deadlines; demonstrate cooperative behavior with colleagues and supervisors.
- Maintain good attendance and punctuality, which is an essential function of the job.
- High school diploma or GED.
- 1 year of experience in the field or in a related area.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office products and SAP.
- Basic NX CAD skills.
- Knowledge of the field’s concepts, practices, and procedures.
- Strong problem‑solving skills and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills in English.
- U.S. citizenship or lawful permanent resident status as required for ITAR/EAR regulations.
- Ability to obtain a U.S. Secret Security Clearance (U.S. Citizenship required). Janicki will assist with this upon employment; compliance with Special Access Program and Continuous Evaluation is mandatory.
- Associate’s degree in Manufacturing Engineering Technology, Instrumentation, Mechatronics, Composite/Material Science, Industrial Design Technology, or a related field.
- 2–5 years of experience in the field or a related area, depending on the level.
- Industrial Robotics Specialist certification.
- Familiarity with CNC processes including CAM software, tool‑path methods, and work holding/fixtures.
- Experience with CATIA and/or Unigraphics is desirable.
Wage range: $22–$48 an hour, plus a discretionary bonus, 401(k) matching, vacation, and health benefits. Employees may also receive additional pay for off‑shifts, off‑site work, and access pay. The stated range is Janicki’s estimate of base compensation; actual offers depend on experience, location, education, training, skills, and abilities.
