Electrical Wire Harness Engineer
Create and modify electrical wire harness designs, ensuring they meet specifications and industry standards. Develop detailed drawings and schematics using Solid Works. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define wire harness requirements.
Generate and maintain technical documentation, including wire lists, assembly instructions, and design specifications. Ensure design documentation is accurate and up-to-date throughout the product lifecycle.
Assist in the prototyping of wire harness assemblies and perform testing to validate design integrity. Identify and resolve design issues and implement necessary modifications.
Ensure designs comply with relevant industry standards and regulations. Collaborate with quality assurance teams to ensure products meet safety and performance criteria.
Participate in project planning and scheduling to meet timelines and deliverables. Provide technical support and guidance to other engineers and team members.
