Our Solutions Engineering Team consists of experienced technical experts in the DACH region, who work closely with global departments. We understand ourselves as a solution-oriented, collegial unit that lives innovation and practical technical excellence. The team spirit is characterized by mutual support, open communication, and the aim to provide our customers with the best possible technical consultation.

Your tasks include:

• Responsible for the entire spectrum of technical pre-sales support with a focus on optical transmission technology for the Adtran sales in the D-A-CH region
• Together with the regional Solution Engineering Teams and in close cooperation with Global Network Consulting and the Product Line Management, you will take over the technical elaboration of optical network solutions and the creation of corresponding offers.
• Analysis of customer requirements and development of tailored technical solutions.
• Creation of technical offers and designs of optical transport networks.
• Conception and conduct of customer-specific presentations and workshops.
• Accompaniment of customer projects from the first inquiry to the final offer phase.
• Support of the development of our products through active incorporation of customer feedback.

You bring:

• Successfully completed studies with a technical or business background.
• Very good German and English skills in speech and writing.
• Independent, results-oriented working style, sense of responsibility, and team capability is no stranger.
• Good analytical skills and the ability to reduce complex issues to practical solutions.
• First experiences in telecommunications and the planning of optical networks with network operators, data centers, and telecommunications suppliers is an advantage.
• Willingness to travel.
