Slot Lead Supervisor

Position OverviewThis position works closely with and assists the Slots Manager and Shift Supervisors as needed, participates in the guest dispute resolution process, and is responsible for the day‑to‑day operations of the Slots floor during the assigned shift. May work with other departments on a daily basis; participates in weekly division meetings. S/he ensures adherence to all Casino, State, Federal and Department policies and procedures.
This position ensures the confidentiality, security and accuracy of guest and team member records, and promotes positive guest and team member relations. Strong written and verbal communication skills are required, and outstanding guest service to fellow team members, guests and vendors is expected. Regular attendance is required; on occasion, later hours or weekend time may be required with project deadlines. A neat, well‑groomed professional appearance is essential at all times.
SupervisorResponsibility
- Directly supervises Slot Supervisors and indirectly supervises Slot Host, Slot Technician I, II & III.
- Responsible for the day‑to‑day operation of the Casino Slot floor.
- Maintain accurate inventory lists and order supplies as needed.
- Address machine malfunctions and customer complaints.
- Oversee proper procedures to ensure the protection of casino assets.
- Promote teamwork and cooperation with all departments for the benefit and service of casino guests.
- Ensure the highest possible standards of guest service and team member relations are maintained and carried out in a fair, timely, and equitable manner.
- Responsible for the consistent training of all Slot department team members.
- Promote Lucky Eagle Casino & Hotel programs and benefits to all team members.
- Schedule and maintain adequate staffing levels and ensure the Department Manager is aware of any issues.
- Maintain accurate employee records and ensure that Team Member evaluations are prepared and presented in a timely manner.
- Participate (with Department Manager approval) in disciplinary process.
- Possess knowledge of State and Federal gaming laws and adhere to all regulatory, Tribal, Casino and department rules, regulations, policies and procedures.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
An associate degree in Business Management or related field and/or a combination of equivalent education and experience will be considered.
Skill, Knowledge, and Experience RequirementsA minimum of 3 years of casino gaming experience required, plus 2 years of experience in Video Lottery Gaming.
Must be a creative, innovative, and motivated self‑starter, with the ability to recognize and address departmental needs. Have an in‑depth understanding of Tribal Gaming Regulations and Policies & Procedures for gaming tournaments and promotional drawings. Applicant must be fluent in operating computer hardware and software applications on a regular basis, as well as have interpersonal skills using tact and diplomacy.
Must be a minimum of 21 years old and have the ability to obtain and retain a Washington State Class III Gaming License; successfully pass a pre‑employment drug screen.

While performing the duties of this position, the employee is frequently required to stand, walk, use hands to finger, handle, feel, or grip objects, stretch and/or reach with hands and arms; stoop; crouch or work in cramped or awkward positions; repetitive motions. This person may regularly lift and/or move up to 30+ pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this position include close vision, distance vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust to focus.
EnvironmentPrimarily indoors and may be exposed to heavy smoke and fluctuations in temperature while in and around the Casino and/or Hotel. May also, from time to time, be exposed to noise from slot machines, customers, music and public announcement systems, as is common in a Casino and/or Hotel environment.
