Position Summary
Colville Indian Housing Authority seeks a detail-oriented Grant Accountant to provide technical accounting, budgeting, and financial reporting support for multiple housing programs. The role monitors and maintains financial transactions, ensures grant compliance, prepares reports for federal, state and local agencies, assists with grant submission, and supports fiscal monitoring activities. Must be able to analyze data, reconcile accounts, prepare billings and reimbursements, and work effectively with program managers, auditors, and funding authorities.
Responsibilities- Monitor and maintain financial transactions.
- Ensure grant compliance and prepare reports for federal, state, and local agencies.
- Assist with grant submission and fiscal monitoring activities.
- Analyze data, reconcile accounts, prepare billings and reimbursements.
- Collaborate with program managers, auditors, and funding authorities.
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, business administration and 3-5 years of progressive experience in accounting systems; or equivalent experience.
- Valid driver’s license required.
- Indian and Veterans Preference applies.
- Position subject to background check and pre-employment drug screen.
