Position: SUPERVISORY SUPPLY MANAGEMENT SPECIALIST with Security Clearance
Location: Bangor

Duties Help
* You will serve as a Supervisory Supply Management Specialist overseeing daily operations including logistics and supply support, warehousing, transportation, and Government wide commercial Purchase Card.
* You will provide guidance and advice on functional requirements and obtain policy clarification and decisions on processes that impact operations.
* You will develop, prepare, and coordinate publication of applicable International Organization for Standardization (ISO) procedures for customers, local Fleet Logistics Center (FLC) instructions and notices, and standard operating procedures.
* You will plan, direct, and coordinate supply operational activities that involve procurement equipment and supplies, conducting inventories, issuing supplies and certifying the procurement of official credit card purchases.
* You will serve as the Approving Official for the purchase card program in support of customers.
* You will plan work to be accomplished by subordinates, set and adjust short-term priorities, and prepare schedules for completion of work. Requirements Help Conditions of employment

* Males born after 12-31-59 must be registered for Selective Service.
* You will be required to obtain and maintain a current Forklift license.
* You will be required to obtain and maintain an interim and/or final security clearance prior to entrance on duty. Failure to obtain and maintain the required level of clearance may result in the withdrawal of a job offer or removal.
* You will be required to complete training, obtain, and maintain a government credit card to make official government purchases for goods and services.
* This position requires occasional travel.
* This position is considered Key/Emergency-Essential. You will be required to provide immediate and continuing support to ensure the success of combat operations or the availability of combat-essential systems.
* This is a Mission Essential position. You will be required to ensure organization or facility continuity of operations and/or completion of tasks that are considered essential to the mission designated by a local or command decision.
* Supervisors in the executive branch have a heightened personal responsibility for advancing government ethics. You will be required to review the 14 General Principles of Ethical Conduct at 5 CFR . Qualifications Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade level GS-09 or pay band in the federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector performing Supply Management Specialist work applying a wide range of well-established supply and hazardous material management principles, concepts, and regulations to analyze, evaluate, and resolve supply management/procurement issues or problems and insure the effectiveness and efficiency of supply, inventory management, and distribution, husbanding and storage operations.

I have experience assisting in the initiation, development, implementation, and interpretation of supply policies and directives for a variety of work situations involving various levels of supply control.
