All Candidates: are required to complete the Personal History section with PST.
Lateral Paramedic:
Candidates are not required to take a written PST exam. Lateral candidates are not required to take a PST CPAT. Qualified candidates will be invited to attend an Oral Board Interview.
After successful completion of the initial testing process, eligible candidates will be invited to a Chief’s interview. A background investigation, psychological testing, and medical exam will take place after conditional offer of employment.
Veteran’s Credit may be available. If requesting Veteran’s Credit, please submit a DD214 Form prior to confirmation of attending an Oral Board/Practical Assessment.
Entry Level Paramedic: Candidates will be required to take a written PST exam, CPAT test within last 12 months. Qualified candidates will be invited to attend a Practical skills evaluation assessment along with an Oral Board interview.
