Location: McChord Air Force Base
Duties The primary purpose of this position is:
To provide the full range of aviation management resources for the unit pertaining to assigned rated/ non-rated / career enlisted / non-career enlisted aircrew. Provide accurate data analysis to unit and operational leadership, ensuring force and resource readiness to accomplish unit mission and an effective liaison with other agencies, functions, and individuals. Additionally, provides training to reservists in the accomplishment of tasks set forth herein.
Duties: 1:
Plans, implements and controls all operational administrative aspects of aviation resource management. 2:
Maintains and updates Aviation Resource Management System (ARMS), Patriot Excalibur (PEX)/Omni, and other aviation management software:
Operates, maintains, and monitors all pertinent aviation management software at the unit level. 3:
Researches, validates, and interprets public law, Air Force guidance, and medical/physiological documentation to monitor and manage flying and ground training requirements. 4:
Substantiates personnel listings, determines position status and performs a wide range of administrative duties. Requirements Conditions of employment

* AFSC/Rank: 1C072 / MSGT Qualifications In order to qualify, you must meet the specialized experience requirements described in the Office of Personnel Management (OPM) Qualification Standards for General Schedule Positions, Administrative and Management Positions, Miscellaneous Administration and Program Series 0301. SPECIALIZED
EXPERIENCE:
Applicants must have at least one (1) year of specialized experience at the next lower grade GS-07, or equivalent in other pay systems. Examples of specialized experience includes knowledge of various aviation management programs, policies and aviation service eligibility directives; knowledge of and skill in applying Aviation Resource Management (ARMs) data system operating procedures and preparation, processing, and auditing of associated documents.

EDUCATION:
Master's or equivalent graduate degree or 2 full years of progressively higher-level graduate education leading to such a degree which demonstrates the knowledge, skills, and abilities necessary to do the work of the position.

EDUCATION:
A combination of education and experience may be used to qualify for this position as long as the computed percentage of the requirements is at least 100%.

Merit promotion applicants must meet applicable time-in-grade requirements to be considered eligible. One year at the GS-07 level is required to meet the time-in-grade requirements for the GS-09 level. TIG applies if you are in a current GS position or held a GS position within the previous 52 weeks.
NOTE:
