Job Description Summary of Functions

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Ensures compliance with Kalispel Tribe of Indians Internal Controls and Northern Quest policies and procedures.

Performs professional manicure and pedicure services in accordance with established treatment protocols and sanitation standards.

Provides timely nail services that create a relaxing and beneficial guest experience.

Maintains knowledge of nail products, procedures, and treatment protocols.

Maintains professionalism and appropriate guest conversation during services.

Promotes positive guest relations and exceptional guest service standards.

Maintains confidentiality of guest information.

Promotes and sells spa, salon, and retail products through guest education and recommendations.

Performs job duties with minimal supervision.

Maintains cleanliness and sanitation of nail stations and salon areas.

Sets up workstations with required supplies and maintains cleanliness throughout shifts.

Starts and ends treatments on time.

Greets guests warmly and provides a professional farewell.

Responds to guest requests promptly and courteously.

Addresses guest concerns to ensure guest satisfaction.

Completes requisitions for supplies and products as needed.

Escorts guests to and from service areas when appropriate.

Uses only approved spa nail products.

Properly disposes of dirty linens and maintains sanitation standards.

Attends all required meetings and training sessions.

Maintains regular and reliable attendance.

May be required to participate as a panelist for Internal Review Hearings.

Performs additional duties assigned by management.

Supervisory Responsibilities

This job has no supervisory responsibilities.

Education & Experience

High School Diploma or GED required.

Certification from a recognized Beauty School or applicable state license required.

Skills & Abilities

Computer literacy with working knowledge of Microsoft Office programs and related software.

Excellent guest service and interpersonal communication skills.

Proficiency in manicure and pedicure services and treatment protocols.

Ability to communicate professionally using proper grammar.

Ability to provide accurate and legible documentation.

Ability to access and utilize computer software systems.

Ability to multitask and maintain professionalism in a fast‑paced environment.

Knowledge of spa, salon, and retail products.

Other Requirements

Regular attendance is essential to the successful performance of this position.

Ability to work varying schedules including nights, weekends, and holidays based on business needs.

Maintain complete knowledge of spa, salon, and retail products.

Ability to obtain and maintain a Tribal Work Permit.

Certified in Basic First Aid and CPR.

Mandatory Alcohol Server Training (MAST) certification required.

Physical Demands

The physical demands described below are representative of those required to successfully perform the essential functions of this position. Reasonable accommodations may be made in accordance with applicable law.

Ability to lift and/or move objects weighing up to 20 pounds occasionally.

Ability to stand for extended periods of time, up to 8 hours per shift.

Requires standing, sitting, walking, repetitive motions, hearing, speaking, and visual acuity.

Frequent communication with guests and coworkers required.

While performing the duties of this position, the employee may occasionally be exposed to moving mechanical parts, fumes, airborne particles, wet and humid conditions, and outdoor weather conditions. The work environment is generally indoors with moderate noise levels.
