Radiologic Technologist / CT Tech
To diagnose injury or disease a physician often utilizes a variety of X‑ray examinations. Radiologic technologists perform these procedures according to the physician’s orders. The technologist instructs the patient and prepares them by positioning the part of the body to be radiographed. For themselves and patients, radiation protection is observed at all times. Requires being certified in at least one other modality including Mammography or CT, contributing to the efficient operation of the department and promoting the philosophy, to ensure the quality and continuity of patient care.
QualificationsSatisfactory completion of an approved Radiologic Technology program and Registered in Radiologic Technology with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT). Registered in ARRT as CT Technologist or Mammography Technologist. Licensed in Radiologic Technology and Computed Tomography or Mammography with the State of Washington. Experience in a rural hospital setting with on‑call experience preferred.
Rad Tech II preferred. Willing to train a Rad Tech I in CT
