Ocean Beach Health is seeking a Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) to join our close-knit rehabilitation team. What You'll Need- Education: Graduate of an accredited PTA program
- Licensure: Current Washington State PTA license
- Certification: Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers (required within 6 months of hire)
- Experience: One year in a clinical healthcare setting preferred
- Tech‑Savvy: Epic experience a plus
As a PTA, you'll work alongside physical therapists to help patients regain mobility, strength, and independence.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Delivering hands‑on therapy and guiding rehabilitation exercises
- Supporting patients and families with education and encouragement
- Assisting with infection control and patient safety practices
- Collaborating with physical therapists on treatment plans and progress
- Contributing to community outreach and wellness initiatives
