Job Summary
Under the general supervision of the food service manager, the cafeteria / diet aide will perform as a health team member committed to customer service and the nutritional care of patients. In the cafeteria, the employee will perform food set‑up, delivery, serving, and cashiering. As a diet aide, duties include providing meals to patients according to their diet order, food preference, and menu choices.
The cafeteria / diet aide acts as the liaison between food and nutrition services, the patient or customer, and hospital staff to provide quality food and service.

Required Qualifications- National Food Handler Card – State, County, or City Authority (upon hire)
- Previous hospital or food service experience.
