Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA)

12‑hour shifts, 3x/week

Buena Vista Healthcare is looking for Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to perform a combination of duties in caring for residents in our assisted living facility, consistent with the plan of care and established long‑term care standards.

• Answer signal lights
• Provide assistance with bathing, dressing, toiletry, and oral hygiene activities of daily living (ADLs)
• Serve and collect food trays and feed residents requiring help
• Transport residents, using wheelchair or wheeled cart, or assist residents to walk
• Turn and re‑position residents, alone or with assistance
• Takes and records vital signs, food and fluid intake and output, and weight, as directed
• Completes documentation

• Current certification as a nursing assistant in the state of employment
• High school graduate or equivalent
• DSHS Mental Health Specialty Training
• DSHS Dementia Specialty Training
• CPR Certification
• Food Handler's card
• Ability to work well in a team setting
