Essential Duties and Responsibilities- Oversee daily clinic operations to ensure efficient workflows, effective patient flow, and coordinated delivery of services.
- Supports achievement for site‑level performance across access, utilization, quality, patient experience, and financial measures.
- Monitors performance data and implements workflow and process improvements to achieve operational and organizational goals.
- Manages staffing, scheduling, and coverage for front office, clinical support, and other non‑provider functions.
- Provides supervision, coaching, and performance management to clinic staff, including hiring, onboarding, and ongoing development.
- Promotes employee engagement, accountability, and a positive workplace culture to support retention and team performance.
- Monitors site‑level resource utilization, supplies, and purchasing within established budget parameters and escalates concerns as appropriate.
- Ensures compliance with organizational policies, regulatory requirements, and safety standards within the clinic environment.
- Collaborate with the Senior Regional Operations Manager, clinical leaders, and support departments to implement initiatives and resolve operational issues.
- Recognizes operational risks, service issues, and barriers to performance and helps facilitate timely escalation and resolution.
- Makes decisions regarding daily staffing assignments, scheduling, and workflow adjustments to maintain clinic efficiency.
- Addresses operational issues impacting patient flow, staff performance, and service delivery.
- Escalates significant performance, compliance, or patient safety concerns to the Senior Regional Operations Manager.
Education/
Experience:
A bachelor’s degree in healthcare administration, business administration, public health, or a related field is preferred. A combination of relevant education and progressive experience may be considered. A minimum of two to five years of experience in healthcare operations, ambulatory clinic management, or community health center leadership is preferred, including supervisory experience and demonstrated knowledge of workflow management, budgeting, staff development, patient access, and regulatory compliance.
