Overview

Compensation: $35.00 - $48.00 per hour

Sign-On Bonus: $5,000 for Full-Time Status; $2,500 for Part-Time or Per Diem Status

Join our team at Columbia County Health System! We are seeking a compassionate and dependable Respiratory Therapist to join our Respiratory Therapy team. The ideal candidate provides safe and effective respiratory care, maintains high safety and clinical standards, communicates well with patients and clinical staff, and demonstrates sound judgment and strong teamwork.

Qualifications
  • Active Washington State RT license
  • Current ACLS preferred
  • BLS certification every 2 years
Key Responsibilities
  • Safely and effectively administer respiratory therapy medications.
  • Use, maintain, and care for respiratory therapy equipment and supplies properly.
  • Maintain accurate and thorough clinical records and charting.
  • Uphold high safety standards and work responsibly at all times.
  • Communicate effectively with physicians, nurses, patients, and hospital staff; demonstrate strong teamwork.
  • Exercise good judgment, tact, dependability, and accuracy in all duties.
  • Educate patients about their respiratory condition and treatment as appropriate.
