Travel Physical Therapist (PT)

Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking a skilled travel Physical Therapist for a 13‑week assignment in Dayton, Washington. The role involves evaluating, diagnosing, and treating patients to improve mobility, reduce pain, and enhance quality of life.

• Evaluate patients’ physical conditions using standardized tests, clinical examinations, and patient history to identify functional limitations.
• Develop personalized rehabilitation programs based on assessment findings and patient goals.
• Implement physical therapy treatment plans using various techniques to improve patient mobility and reduce pain.
• Operate specialized physical therapy equipment and modalities safely, ensuring proper maintenance and calibration.
• Assess patient progress, adjust treatment plans as needed, and accurately document evaluations, interventions, and outcomes in the medical record.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, occupational therapists, and other healthcare professionals for coordinated care.
• Educate patients and caregivers on home exercise programs, body mechanics, injury prevention, and self‑management techniques.
• Maintain a safe treatment environment by adhering to infection control protocols and regulatory standards.
• Engage in quality assurance initiatives and professional development activities to stay current with best practices.
• Collaborate in discharge planning to ensure smooth transitions.
• Perform other duties as assigned within scope of practice.

• Valid Physical Therapy license in compliance with state regulations.
• Current BLS certification (AHA/ARC).

• Doctorate degree in physical therapy.
• Physical therapy experience; new graduates welcome.
• Other certifications or licenses may be required.

• Proficiency in reading, writing, and speaking English.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions and use basic PC skills.
• Physical abilities: remain stationary, move equipment (50–100 lb), push, pull, and bend.

• Technical/motor skills: grasp, fine manipulation, push/pull, assist with procedures.
• Mental requirements: handle frequent public contact, meet deadlines under pressure, work with minimal supervision, maintain concentration.
