Caregiver Position

Job responsibilities include:
- Providing personal caregiving services and support in the client's home
- Assisting with activities of daily living including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting
- Supporting the personal needs, comfort, and safety of clients
- Preparing meals and assisting with special diets
- Performing general housekeeping and household support activities
- Providing compassionate companionship and emotional support
- Assisting with transportation to appointments, errands, and activities
- Administering medications as delegated and permitted by state regulations, including completion of Nurse Delegation Core and/or Nurse Delegation Diabetes certifications when required
- Assisting with Passive Range of Motion activities when properly credentialed and trained
- Offering limited assistance with vital signs for informational purposes only, in accordance with company guidelines
- Maintaining accurate communication and reporting changes in client condition to the appropriate care team
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED preferred
- Current HCA or CNA license required (renewed annually)
- Ability to meet BCCU background check requirements
- Effective verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work responsibly with confidential information
- Dependable, compassionate, and able to work independently with good judgment
- Must be at least 18 years of age with a valid driver's license
Physical Requirements:

- Sitting, standing, walking, bending, and reaching with hands and arms
- Ability to communicate effectively in person and by phone
- Close, distance, and peripheral vision
- Ability to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds with or without assistance
- Ability to use a computer keyboard and electronic documentation systems
- Moderate to loud noise levels depending on the environment
- Exposure to varying temperatures in home or office settings
Salary Range: USD $23.79 - $27.28 / Year
