We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse for Dayton General Hospital to provide exceptional care in the Acute Care and/or Emergency Department. The ideal candidate will be flexible, team-oriented, and able to respond effectively in critical situations, all while embracing the unique challenges and rewards of working in a rural community.
What We Offer- Schedule: Flexible;
Days (6:45am – 7:15pm) and Nights (6:45pm – 7:15am) - Compensation:
- Acute Care only: $39.60 - $62.29 per hour (includes a 10% per diem increase)
- Emergency Department: $41.80 - $64.49 per hour (includes a 10% per diem increase)
- Sign-on bonus: $3,750.00
- Shift differentials for Lead, Nights, Weekends, Preceptor, Call Back
- Per Diem Requirements: 2 shifts required per month, no more than 130 hours for the month; one major and one minor holiday required to pick up per year
- If working in the Emergency Department, floating to the Acute Care Unit is required
- Supportive team environment in a community hospital setting
- Active Washington State RN license; or active Multi-State License
- Current ACLS required for Acute Care only, PALS and TNCC required for ED
- BLS certification every 2 years
- Provide patient care in the Acute Care and/or Emergency Department.
- Administer medications and assist with patient admissions.
- Document patient information in the EHR.
- Respond promptly to emergencies.
- Perform triage and prioritize patient care.
- Check and maintain equipment and supplies in the ED.
- Lead or assist in trauma and code situations.
- Demonstrate flexibility, teamwork, and strong clinical judgment.
- Complete additional duties as assigned to support department operations.
