Schedule:
Full-Time | 32 – 40 hours per week
Compensation: $19.00 - $27.00 per hour
Schedule Varies | Clinic & Emergency Department | Weekend and Night Coverage
Join our team at Columbia County Health System! We are seeking a friendly, organized professional who is dedicated to delivering outstanding patient care, and is adaptable, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and consistently provides exceptional customer service. This role requires flexibility, including the ability to work varied and sometimes irregular schedules, such as weekends, early mornings or late evenings, and to respond to call-outs as needed.
A strong work ethic, reliability, and a willingness to adjust to changing operational needs are essential to supporting both our patients and care teams effectively.
What We Offer

- Varied
Schedule: - Mondays, 4:30pm – 1:00am OR 3:30pm – 1:00am (Emergency Department)
- Wednesdays, 5pm – 8pm (Columbia Family Clinic)
- Saturdays, 9:45am – 2:00pm (Columbia Family Clinic)
- Sundays, flexible; between 8- and 12-hour shifts (Emergency Department)
- Float to other clinics as needed to cover for call-outs, vacations, etc.

Qualifications
- Administrative office experience required 2+ years experience preferred
- Healthcare experience is a plus!
Key Responsibilities
- Greet patients and visitors, answer inquiries, and provide exceptional customer service.
- Schedule and manage patient appointments to optimize provider time and clinic flow.
- Verify patient demographics, insurance information, and obtain prior authorizations as needed.
- Collect payments and maintain accurate financial records.
- Prepare, scan, and file documents, including medical records and insurance paperwork.
- Maintain a clean and organized reception area while ensuring patient confidentiality.
- Assist with general clerical tasks and support daily clinic operations.
