Psychologist 4 - Coyote Ridge Corrections Center

Located in Connell, WA, the position is Monday‑Friday 0730‑1600. The Psychologist 4 provides mental health assessment and treatment services and supervises master’s level clinicians across the facility.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care through psychological evaluations, diagnostic clarification, testing, screenings, and assessments.
• Supervise and mentor Psychology Associates; ensure staff have up‑to‑date position descriptions, performance plans, and expectations.
• Participate in formal clinical oversight and work collaboratively with custody and clinical staff to achieve optimal patient outcomes.
• Engage in release planning and support teams across multiple units (Medium Security Complex, Restrictive Housing, Close Observation, Minimum Security Unit, Sage East).
• Other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications

• At least one year of postdoctoral psychology experience.
• Current license to practice psychology in Washington.
• Minimum one year of independent practice linking client needs with resources.

Preferred Qualifications

• Three years of postdoctoral experience, including at least one year supervising staff.
• Experience in forensic psychology, ideally within a correctional setting.
